Relief Valves

· Relief valves are generally used to provide overpressure protection for some device in your flow stream. Relief valves typically are not capable of resetting at the same pressure as their set point and so can not be used for precise control. [Consider a back pressure regulator if you need this kind of service.] When selecting a relief valve it is important that it be sized correctly to insure that in the worst case scenario sufficient flow capacity is available to fully protect your application. Call AnalyzerComponents.com for help in selecting the right valve for your application.

Diaphragm Valves

· Diaphragm valves are totally free of springs, bellows, packing, o-rings, and lubricants in the wetted areas. Compared to other valves, diaphragm valves offer superior leak integrity and working life. For this reason they are particularly desirable for analytical applications. Valves are available in a variety of sizes, with hand or remote activation, and made from different materials. Call on your AnalyzerComponents.com representative for help in finding the right valve for your application.

Ball Valves

· Ball valves' simple design offers a quick way to divert flow from one path to another. One advantage of ball valves is their straight through design, promoting full flow with minimum pressure drop. Typically configured so that the handle allows the user to instantly identify the direction of flow, they are favored by many engineers as a practically fool proof way to set up a single or multiple valve array. Pressure, temperature, and flow rates are all-important considerations in selecting the right valve. Ask your AnalyzerComponents.com advisor for assistance in getting the correct valve for your job.

Check Valves

· Check valves are designed to prevent back flow and can be used for a wide variety of fluids and gases at various pressures. To find the right valve for your job call on your AnalyzerComponents.com representative.

Needle Valves

·Needle valves offer a way to very precisely meter the flow rate. Some models are available with micrometer style knobs that allow for the superior control. To correctly size this valve we need to know your pressure, temperature, and flow rate requirements. Call AnalyzerComponents.com for help in getting the exact valve for your requirements.

Double Block & Bleed / Multiple Stream

· Double block and bleed valves are normally used as stream select valves when working with multiple streams to the same analyzer. Working with common outlet and bleed/vent ports, they are designed to prevent cross contamination between different streams. The bleed feature minimizes the chance of a previous sample being trapped in the valve during analytical cycles. Seat leakage can also be detected by monitoring the bleed port. Modular in design, these units can be "stacked" to provide for multiple streams directed to one outlet. Ask your AnalyzerComponents.com for help in selecting the right valve for your application.
